Amoma Happy Ants Natural Substrate Pine Bark Chips
It is used to add wood textures to the ant farms/habitats to give all wood loving ant species a more homely nest/outer world.
It is recommended to mix these pine bark shaving with our natural river sand if used in the large primary nesting chambers for larger colonies.
We used and tested it with many species, primarily our Camponotus Modoc and Lasius Neoniger colonies and they enjoy using aspen in their chambers and as an outer world texture, really makes them feel at home!
Ant Keeping
- Always keep the nest hydrated when starting a colony.
- Never place your ant farm in/under/near any direct light.
- Item may contain glass, acrylic, ceramic or other fragile material. Please remember to be careful when opening & unwrapping your package.
- Item may have sharp and/ or pointy edges and be fragile, please be careful when handling it.
- Not for children to play with or use without adult supervision.
